Enhancing 9-1-1 Emergency Response through Indoor 9-1-1 Call Location Technology 1. What new location technologies are coming to our ECC’s 2. How GIS data can be enhanced to make the new location data meaningful 3. How to get started on mapping indoor spaces
Does your ECC have access to indoor maps for enhanced emergency response? Raw position measurements for indoor 9-1-1 callers are now being delivered to ECC’s, providing more accurate location information than ever before. How can you convert these raw measurements into actionable location information and further enhance this caller location with indoor maps and other content? How can this information be made available to dispatch and first responders in the field? How can indoor maps enhance and improve school safety and security. This presentation will discuss the benefits of adding indoor maps to your ECC to further enhance the safety and security of the residents for your jurisdiction.
