IPSTA is soon approaching and everything is a go. As per the CDC guidelines and State mandates, masks will be required. No other restrictions are in place, but we will continue to follow any guideline changes that may be imposed. Should the State shutdown gatherings, all those registered will receive a full refund.
Early registration ends on October 1, 2021. Beginning October 2nd, registration fees will increase from $150 to $200 per attendee. Cancellations must be made prior to October 7th for refunds. The Sunday class, Preventing Telecommunicator Tunnel Vision, requires a separate registration of $100. You are not required to register for the IPSTA Conference to attend the Sunday class.
There are over 27 hours of continuing education hours being offered throughout the conference. The tracks will focus on hot topics, telecommunicators, supervisor/manager, and technology sessions. The full session lineup is available at www.911conference.org. Beginning on Sunday night there is an opportunity to visit the vendor floor during exclusive vendor hours where you will see the latest technology. Additional vendor hours are available on Monday and Tuesday.
When you register, don't forget to sign up for the 5K run being held on Monday night at 5:15 at the IDOT site, just one mile north of the conference hotel. Use this opportunity to kick off a new fitness routine or stay committed to one you already have.
At Tuesday night's Award Banquet IL APCO will recognize Telecommunicator, Line Supervisor, Technician, Trainer, and Director/Manager of the Year for both 2020 and 2021. INENA has award categories of Excellence, Thank-You, Sponsorship, and Appreciation.
Following the awards ceremony there will be entertainment provided by the Sofa Kings. Attendees are encouraged to show off their costume at our Halloween themed event; relax, have fun, and continue to network.
Join us for the 37th Annual IPSTA Conference; October 24-27, 2021.
